TITA’s present fundraising aims
TITA is now fundraising for the new studio build at the Hoffmann Foundation for Autism, Daycentre in Wood Green, London N22., (‘Daycentre’). Money raised to date has greatly enhanced the experiences users have there.
Specific projects include:
- To purchase the equipment, hardware and software, necessary to make high quality audio visual projects (‘Movies’ and DVDs) and to share skills and information with parents and carers.
- Pay for Training Courses run by The Bridge School Training and Consultancy Service, which TITA supports. These point to ways in which ICT can become one of the cornerstones of the 21st Century special needs curriculum through training carers to support students in working with sounds and moving images. Course participants will create both a podcast and movies using such software as Audacity, Photo-Story and Windows Movie Maker.
- Training opportunities for parents and professionals can be significantly enhanced with access to the internet. To further develop our training aims we will purchase laptops and provide wireless internet access at Daycentre.
